Aliana

Aliana is often used as a modern spelling associated with Eliana. That relationship can explain its sound and shape, but it does not make every proposed meaning of Eliana, Ali, or Alia an automatic translation of Aliana. Its origin is best described in relation to the particular longer name or family connection intended.

Ali and Allie are familiar shorter forms; singer and model Aliana Lohan uses Ali. The opening a gives Aliana a different appearance from Eliana, while the longer ending keeps a four-syllable possibility in English. Saying both full forms aloud can help clarify which vowel sequence and everyday nickname a family prefers.
