Brayan

Brayan is used in Spanish and Portuguese as a form of Brian. Brian’s older Irish origin is not completely certain, although interpretations involving strength or nobility are familiar. The spelling Brayan helps represent the intended vowel pattern in its language context rather than creating a new name with a separate established meaning.

Brian and Bryan are useful comparisons within the same family. Brayan should not automatically be treated as a blend with Brayden or given a fish-related meaning from a similar-looking name. A family’s language convention can explain the spelling directly, without needing an invented combination to account for its extra written vowel.
