Capri

Capri is an Italian island name used as a personal name. Its older etymology has been connected with words for goats or wild boars, but those are competing explanations rather than two guaranteed meanings. The island itself is the clearest reference for a modern family choosing Capri.

The same spelling appears in the name of a clothing style, which may be another familiar association. A family can instead value a visit, Italian heritage, or the name’s concise sound. Italian and English speakers may place emphasis differently, making a spoken introduction useful. Capri is already a complete name and does not need a longer formal expansion.
