Eliyanah

Eliyanah is a spelling variation associated with Eliana and the Hebrew interpretation “my God has answered.” The y and final h make this written form more elaborate while preserving that intended name-family connection. It should not be described as a straightforward feminine form of Elijah simply because the names share an opening sequence.

Eliana provides the closest shorter spelling, while Eliyana retains the y without the final h. These comparisons are useful for families who already know the sound they prefer. The answered-prayer meaning can have personal religious significance, but that significance is best explained through the Eliana connection rather than an invented combination of unrelated biblical names.
