Evalynn

Evalynn can be a spelling of Evelyn or a combination of Eva and Lynn. Through Evelyn, it belongs to the older Aveline name family, whose earliest meaning is uncertain. When chosen as a combination, the personal significance may come from two relatives or names a family wants to bring together.

The Eva opening and double n make this spelling visually distinctive. Those letters can be helpful when explaining a family tribute, while the intended pronunciation may be closer to Evelyn or may make Eva more audible. Evalyn is a related spelling to compare. The combination's story is usually more meaningful than trying to turn the two names into a single literal phrase.
