Jaysen

Jaysen is a modern spelling of Jason, the Greek name associated with healing. In Greek mythology, Jason leads the Argonauts in the quest for the Golden Fleece. That adventure supplies the name family’s best-known story, while the meaning comes from a separate Greek root connected with healing.

The y makes the first vowel sound visible to many English readers, and the final en distinguishes Jaysen from both Jason and Jayson. These spelling choices do not create a new ancient name or change the underlying mythological connection. A family honoring a Jason can use Jaysen to preserve the familiar sound while choosing a different written form.
