Kaizer

Kaizer is a spelling variation of Kaiser, the German title for an emperor. Kaiser developed from Caesar, so the name’s historical connection is with a title and its transmission between languages. An uncertain explanation of the older Roman name Caesar should not replace emperor as the useful meaning of Kaizer.

The z makes the voiced consonant explicit in English, while Kaiser keeps the established German spelling. Kyzer is another modern comparison. Kaizer can be chosen for its title association or its sound, but neither reason predicts a child’s future role or character. The shorter name Kai resembles its beginning without automatically sharing the same origin.
