Kezia

Kezia is a form of the Hebrew name Keziah, meaning cassia. Cassia refers to an aromatic plant associated with cinnamon-like bark, giving the name a botanical meaning with a scent as well as a visual image. In the Book of Job, Keziah is one of Job's three daughters named near the end of the story.

The spelling without the final h preserves the same biblical identity. Kizzy is an established affectionate form, offering a more informal option alongside the full name. Pronunciation varies between families and languages, so there is no need to treat one English rendering as the only authentic choice. The plant meaning and the biblical character remain the common thread across those spoken forms.
