Mileena

Mileena is a spelling related to Milena, a Slavic name built around the element mil, meaning dear or gracious. The double e makes the middle vowel especially noticeable in English letters. Through Milena, it connects with a wider family of Slavic names expressing affection, rather than with a separate ancient root unique to this spelling.

Mileena also has a very specific modern association: a character introduced in the video game Mortal Kombat II. For some families, that fictional bearer will be the main reference; for others, the relationship to Milena will matter more. Considering both connections gives a fuller picture of the name, whose established linguistic family and recognizable game spelling coexist.
