Mylo

Mylo is a spelling variation of Milo, a name with a long European history but an uncertain deeper origin. Interpretations involving a soldier or mercy are often repeated, yet neither should be treated as a proven translation for every Milo or Mylo. The modern y spelling inherits that uncertainty rather than resolving it.

Milo is the closest comparison, while Miles and Myles belong to a connected naming history. Mylo makes the long first vowel particularly visible to English readers and preserves the open final o. A family can choose it to honor a Milo or Miles while keeping a distinct written form for the new bearer.
