Noella

Noella is an extended feminine form in the Noël and Noelle family, with Christmas at the center of its meaning. French Noël developed from a Latin expression concerning birth, and the name’s seasonal use connects that older word with the Christian celebration of the Nativity. The final a gives Noella an additional syllable compared with Noelle.

The spelling Noëlla can make the separate vowel sounds visible in French, while Noella is often written without the mark in English. It may be chosen for a child born around Christmas or for a family connection to the season, though a particular birthday is not required. Noelle offers the closest shorter form for parents comparing the same name family.
