Raylynn

Raylynn is a modern combination of Ray and Lynn. Ray can refer to a ray of light or serve as a short form of a personal name such as Raymond; Lynn may itself be a family name chosen for someone special. The combination therefore does not have one fixed ancient translation shared by every bearer.

The spelling keeps both components visible, with the doubled n preserving the familiar Lynn form. Raelynn is a close comparison for families choosing a similar sound, while Raylene has a different ending. Raylynn can be especially meaningful as a two-person honor name, but that personal story should be explained separately from any proposed dictionary meanings.
