Rosalee

Rosalee is a spelling of Rosalie, belonging to the wider Rosa family and associated with the rose flower. It has an established history of use rather than being solely a recent creative spelling. The visible Lee ending may also make it useful for a personal family tribute, but “rose meadow” is not a necessary literal meaning of the complete name.

Rosa, Rosie, and Lee offer different everyday options. Rosalee Calvert in Grimm provides a fictional bearer of this particular spelling, while Rosalie is another form parents may recognize more readily. Both usually preserve a similar three-syllable sound. A family honoring a Lee can explain that additional personal connection without changing the name's underlying floral history.
