Tahlia

Tahlia is a spelling of Talia associated especially with Australian English use. Through the Hebrew name Talia, it is traditionally interpreted as dew of God, combining the dew image with a divine element. The inserted h changes the Roman-letter form while preserving that name-family connection.

The name’s gentle natural image may appeal to families who want a religious meaning that is less immediately obvious in English. Talia is the closer spelling to compare when considering the Hebrew route. A family may choose the extra h because it matches the spelling they know best, while keeping the dew image and the older name’s religious association as the central parts of its story.
