Treasure

Treasure is an English word name for something highly valued, whether a precious possession or something cherished more personally. The word has an older history through French and Latin, but the modern given name is most directly understood through English. Its use can express how a family feels about a child without predicting the child’s personality.

The ordinary word remains immediately recognizable when spoken or written, making the affectionate association quite direct. Treasure works as a complete name rather than requiring a longer formal version. Parents may want to try it in everyday introductions as well as with the full surname, since its familiar word meaning will remain part of how others hear it.
