Xena

Xena is strongly associated with the television character in Xena: Warrior Princess, portrayed by Lucy Lawless. It is commonly connected with Greek Xenia and its association with hospitality or a guest, although the exact formation of Xena is less certain. The character’s occupation is a cultural association, not the literal meaning of the name.

Xena was also used informally for the astronomical object later named Eris while its classification was being considered. That gives the spelling a second recognizable cultural story. Xenia offers a longer related option, while Xena keeps the brief two-syllable form. The opening X is usually read as a z sound in English introductions.
