Ariadna

Ariadna is a form of Ariadne used in several languages, including Spanish and Catalan. The Greek name is traditionally understood as “most holy.” In Greek mythology, Ariadne helps Theseus navigate the labyrinth, giving the name a specific story beyond its literal meaning.

Ariadna keeps the distinctive dn sequence while changing Ariadne's final vowel. It may resemble Ariana or Adriana at a glance, but those similarities do not make the names interchangeable. Ariadna Gil is a recognizable bearer of this spelling. For families using Spanish at home, Ariadna may preserve the familiar language form while retaining the same mythological connection as Ariadne.
