Cristopher

Cristopher is a spelling variation of Christopher, a name from Greek elements meaning “bearer of Christ.” The missing first h changes the written form but does not change the Christian name family behind it. The familiar story of Saint Christopher contributes to the name's religious association alongside its literal derivation.

Chris remains an available short form, and the full name generally keeps Christopher's familiar English rhythm. The distinction matters most in writing, where people may restore the h automatically. A family using Cristopher to match a relative can preserve that exact spelling while sharing the same older meaning. Christopher offers the nearest comparison when deciding which written version to use.
