Elyanna

Elyanna is a modern spelling associated with the Eliana and Elyana name family. It should not be translated by simply separating the letters into El and Anna: that approach can produce an attractive phrase without establishing the history of the actual name. The clearest explanation is its relationship to an existing name rather than a newly discovered ancient compound.

The y and doubled n distinguish Elyanna visually from Eliana, while families may intend the same spoken name. That makes the spelling useful to compare when honoring someone named Eliana or choosing a form already used in a family. The connection can be preserved without claiming that Elyanna itself was the traditional spelling in Hebrew or another older language.
