Enoc

Enoc is a Spanish form of Enoch, a biblical Hebrew name associated with dedication or initiation. The biblical figure most often remembered by that name is described as walking with God and being taken by God, giving the name a distinctive religious narrative. Its meaning and story offer separate but complementary reasons for choosing it.

The spelling without a final h reflects the Spanish form rather than a different biblical character. Enoch is the useful English comparison when reading family records or translations of the story. Enoc keeps the name concise on the page while maintaining a clear connection with the older Hebrew name, making it an established option for families seeking a biblical choice in Spanish.
