Kaisen

Kaisen is a modern given name whose formation is not firmly documented. It is sometimes described as combining the sounds of Kai and Jason, but that explanation does not establish a single inherited meaning. Kai itself has several independent origins, so its possible meanings should not all be transferred to Kaisen.

Kai offers a concise everyday shortening, while Kaison is a related spelling to compare. The similarly written word kaizen has its own Japanese meaning and should not be treated as the origin of Kaisen simply because the letters are close. Families can choose Kaisen for its sound while keeping its modern, uncertain name history separate from those associations.
