Kiana

Kiana has more than one naming history, including an established Hawaiian form of Diana. Through that route it connects with the Roman name associated with the divine or heavenly. Modern English uses can have other inspirations, so the name should not be reduced to a single invented origin or to its resemblance to a commercial word.

Fitness personality Kiana Tom is a recognizable bearer of the Hawaiian form. Kianna is a spelling comparison, while Diana makes the underlying relationship more direct. The language and family context help explain the intended meaning, particularly because similar spellings occur independently in other naming traditions as well.
