Kianna

Kianna is a spelling of Kiana, a name with more than one documented route. One is the Hawaiian adaptation of Diana; another connects modern English usage with Qiana, the fabric name. It is therefore too categorical to say that every Kianna comes from a textile or that every bearer has a Hawaiian family connection.

The double n distinguishes Kianna from Kiana without identifying which origin a family intends. Through the Diana route, the name belongs to a classical name family associated with the divine; that meaning is inherited through a borrowed name rather than being a literal Hawaiian word translation. Kiana is the most useful comparison, while a family's own explanation can clarify the particular connection.
