Londynn

Londynn is a modern spelling of London, the name of England’s capital. The place connection is the clearest meaning: the ancient origin of London itself is uncertain. The y and doubled final n change the presentation of the name without creating a new translation for the city.

As a given name, Londynn can recall a family connection, a meaningful visit, or an interest in the city’s history and culture. Those personal associations are different from claiming a separate ancient linguistic origin for this spelling. London preserves the exact place-name form, while Londyn sits between the two spellings. All three make the geographical reference readily recognizable to an English reader.
