Revan

Revan is a character name from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The character’s story explores identity and the light and dark sides of the Force, giving the name a particular place in Star Wars game storytelling. There is no securely established real-language translation for this fictional form.

The short spelling makes Revan less elaborate than many fantasy names, while its connection remains recognizable to players who know the game. For a family choosing it because of that story, the character’s complexity may be part of the appeal. The name’s meaning is best expressed through that fictional association and the family’s own attachment, rather than through an unsupported ancient origin added later.
