Xavion

Xavion is a modern elaboration associated with Xavier. Xavier comes through a Basque place name meaning new house, made widely familiar by Saint Francis Xavier. That historical connection belongs first to Xavier; Xavion adapts its recognizable opening into a newer personal name rather than being an old Basque form itself.

The final syllable changes the rhythm and distinguishes Xavion from Xavier in both speech and writing. For a family honoring someone named Xavier, it offers a clear but less exact echo. The initial x can be pronounced differently across names and languages, so the intended sound is worth making clear. The spelling alone does not establish a separate ancient meaning.
