Yasmeen

Yasmeen is a spelling of Yasmin, a name associated with the jasmine flower. The word has Persian roots and became established in Arabic and other languages, so the name carries a history of movement between neighboring cultures. Its floral meaning remains recognizable across the many forms used today.

The ee spelling makes the long vowel especially visible to English readers. Yasmin and Yasmine offer close alternatives, while Jasmine is the familiar English word-name form. These spellings can reflect language, family tradition, or personal preference rather than different flowers. Yasmeen can be a way to preserve a Persian or Arabic naming connection while using a spelling that clearly suggests the intended sound in English.
