Chozen

Chozen is a modern spelling of Chosen, the English word meaning selected. It can express a family’s sense that a child is deeply wanted or has a special place in their lives. Those personal or religious associations add significance, but the name does not require one particular faith or belief about destiny.

The z makes the spelling distinct while usually keeping the sound of the familiar word. Chosen is the alternative to compare if a direct word-name appearance matters more than the initial impression of a new name. Both are complete given-name choices. A family can explain its own intention without turning the meaning into an expectation the child must fulfill.
