Cristina

Cristina is an established form of Christina in languages including Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, and Romanian. The name belongs to the Christian name family and traditionally means “a Christian” or a follower of Christ. Its spelling without h reflects those language traditions rather than a recent decorative alteration.

Christina is a familiar English comparison, but Cristina does not need to be translated or expanded to function as a full name. Families may choose it to preserve the spelling used by a relative or in their own language. Pronunciation varies across the countries where it is used, so the shared spelling should not be taken to require one universal English stress pattern.
