Chozyn

Chozyn is a modern spelling of the English word chosen, meaning selected. Families may give the word a religious or personal significance, but divine favor is an interpretation added to the ordinary meaning rather than a requirement built into every use. Its spelling keeps the recognizable sound while changing two letters.

Chosen makes the word immediately visible, while Chozen offers another close alternative. Chozyn can be used as the complete name without a nickname or longer version. Parents may want to consider how often they are comfortable introducing its spelling, especially if the meaning matters more to them than the visual distinction between these contemporary forms.
