Jazmyn

Jazmyn is a spelling variation of Jasmine, the flower name that reached English through French and Arabic from Persian. Jasmine plants are especially associated with fragrant flowers, often white or yellow. The botanical connection gives Jazmyn a clear meaning even though its z and y create a different appearance from the ordinary English plant word.

The exact spelling has a recognizable bearer in American gymnast Jazmyn Foberg, who won the United States junior all-around title in 2014. That offers a sporting association alongside the older flower history. Jasmine and Jazmin show closely related written forms, and the shared botanical background remains recognizable despite their different choices of letters.
